About
My Background
After a dozen years as a TV News Reporter (and two kids later), I returned to my love of photography.
I have spent the past few years diving (sometimes head first) into photography classes to find the best way to capture your story with photos.
I love the surprise moments in life -- a mother comforting her child after getting a boo boo, chocolate icing on a kid's face or a spontaneous dance party with siblings. With photography, you never know what's waiting for you in the next moment in time and I love that!
Photography as Communication
I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. I use my camera to document moments in time with a focus on the magic I find in daily life. From colorful chalk drawings on the driveway to a tickle fight with the family -- let's capture a slice of your history because we all know time flies by too fast!
Sharing Stories
You've probably heard the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" and it's so true. Photos tell a story - your story. Sure, life is messy (especially with kids) and that's OK -- it's all part of YOUR timeline, YOUR history, YOUR family.
